We took a plane over to the smaller island of Flores just east of Bali. We landed in Laumban Bajo, seaport of the island--and not the prettiest of towns. This was the take off point for Komodo Dragon National Park and some really great diving (for joe). It was also the starting point of what would be a crazy journey across the mountainous island.
