Milford Sound is said to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.
It rains over 21 ft annually, and when it does
(which is most of the time and the entire time we were there)
the jagged fiordland mountains are covered in thousands of waterfalls
the entrance to the sound
(they are all pretty much that way and usually on blind curves?!?)
this one has great views though..
just joking
after 24 hrs a day for an entire month, you can get tired of someone..
joe had to go...
just joking
beautifully carved smooth rocks blown away by the force of rushing water
these waterfalls are dripping from the glacial wall on top
The best way to see the sound and all the amazing waterfalls is by boat...

it is hard to get good photos in the rain, but without it you dont see as many waterfalls
here are some the best we could take- but the most amazing will be only memories
